Daniel holds a BSc in Mining Engineering and brings over 27 years of experience in explosive engineering across various sectors, including coal, gold, diamonds, nickel, platinum, chrome, and manganese mining. His expertise encompasses mining operations, environmental management, civil and municipal engineering, occupational health and safety, and mine planning and development.

A strong leader, Daniel excels in managing multidisciplinary teams, driving operational efficiencies, and solving complex problems. He joined Africoal in June 2023 and currently serves as the Site Manager for the Seriti-Middleburg Mining Services Rehabilitation Project (MMS Rehab) in Middleburg.
