Pieter Boshoff is the Head of Engineering (former Head of Processing and Beneficiation), and the Mine Manager at Pegasus and Inyanda, bringing extensive experience in both processing and beneficiation. Having started as the Head of Beneficiation, Pieter played a key role in overseeing the operations of multiple beneficiation plants and mobile crushing and screening equipment. His expertise in sustainable engineering systems management, cost-effective solutions, and safety have been instrumental in Africoal’s growth.

Pieter’s career began as an Apprentice at Matla Coal, advancing through roles as Artisan, Technician, Assistant Engineer, and eventually into leadership positions. His early achievements include managing the installation of the world’s largest Short-wall system. Over the years, Pieter has held significant roles across various mining companies, culminating in his current position where he oversees the engineering functions, ensuring Africoal’s operations run efficiently and sustainably.
