Katiso is a Site Manager at Africoal SA with over 10 years of experience in Mining.  He has various qualifications to add to his extensive experience namely, Master of Business Administration (Candi. MBA), Mineral Resource Management at Wits, Bachelor of Honours in Mining Geology and Bachelor of Science Degree.

Katiso was appointed as a Site Manager at New Largo Colliery at Africoal SA in December 2022. This role included management of HR , Seriti Resources, Geology, Engineering and SHE teams. Key stakeholders such as Eskom, DMR (Witbank offices), Seriti ,Station Commanders and Community Leaders . He was responsible for the safe production of about 300 000t of ROM/month with about 320 permanent employees safely.
